Wave Jewellery is built on a simple belief: that every piece of jewellery should feel as personal as the story behind it.

Where It All Began

Wave first opened its doors in 1999 — one shop, one vision, and a passion for contemporary design. Working alongside Jo Henderson, we grew from that single location into five successful stores across the North West and beyond: Kendal, Lancaster, Bowness-on Windermere , Manchester, and London.

Along the way, we built a reputation as one of the UK's most respected independent jewellers — shortlisted for the Retail Jeweller Awards and recognised as one of the best independent jewellery businesses in the country.

A New Chapter

The pandemic brought big change for all of us. I made the difficult decision to close our physical stores and I turned my focus to bespoke work for private clients — a quieter, more personal way of doing what I've always loved.

That work grew steadily. And now, drawing on 25+ years of knowledge, craft, and industry connections, I wanted to bring that same level of expertise to a wider audience — through this online store.

I've spent my  entire career immersed in the jewellery world one way or anothetr :

• Travelled the world visiting leading trade shows in New York, Brazil, Switzerland, and Germany
• Built trusted relationships with suppliers, craftspeople, and industry colleagues over 25+ years
• Deep, hands-on knowledge of the global diamond and gemstone market

Our ring collection is named after women — because every ring deserves a name as unique as the person who wears it. From Aria to Zara, each design has its own character, meaning to me and  its own story, and its own place in the world.
